Brunei-Miri-Kuching-Miri-Brunei -> 1st Business Trip

Just came back yesterday night from my first business trip to Kuching-Sarawak. Been informed by my GM on Friday morning that he need me to follow him and few other people to Kuching for business trip. It was a tiring business trip as we have to rush from 1 place to another. Total 2 site visit, 1 meeting in kuching and 1 meeting in Brunei yesterday night.

Day 1
19 January 2014 (Brunei-Miri-Kuching)
Wake up at 4am to get ready for journey from Brunei to Miri airport. Meet my bos at Radisson Hotel near my place around 5am and there another guy who staying at the Hotel is following us. We start the journey to Miri airport at 5.30am. It was raining all the way until Miri and we arrive at Miri airport around 7.30am. Our flight is at 8.40am and we meet another guy at Miri airport who is joining us for this business trip. While waiting for our flight, we have some breakfast at the airport.
We arrive Kuching at 9.45am and there someone waiting for us at the airport and send us to Pullman Hotel-Kuching for check in. After that at 10.30am we meet another guy at hotel to take us to site visit. He was mentioning that the driving will take about 2.5hrs to arrive at the side from our hotel and there not proper place to eat that the area. So we decided to stop and had our lunch first before proceed to the site. In the map as below. Point A is our origin and B is where is our destination

We arrived at the site at 2.30pm and on the way we have to take ferry to cross the river. You can make money if you have the correct type of stone. Selling stone also can make you rich. below is the site pictures. More will be upload from my mobile.

We spend there for 1.5hrs and arrive back to Hotel at 6.45pm. At night manage to call my fiancee and we spend time talking to each other. I am very happy to talk to her and listen to her voice. A lot of update from her and my parents about our wedding. Make me sad as what I promise to her might not happen. I hope Allah will help us on this and I really hope what I planned will happen. I know I might have negative thinking when she call me on 19 January and when she did not msg me on 20 January when she know I in Kuching. I know she also sad thinking what had happen to our weeding planning. I feel so guilty to her as she had to face all this problem alone. I hope she can be strong.

Day 2
20 January 2014 (Kuching-Miri-Brunei)
Wake up at 7am at Hotel and went for breakfast. At 8am we on the move again to another site visit. By 10am we have to rush for a meeting with CEO of a public listed company to discuss on the business deal. My first time in a meeting to discuss a business deal in the corporate world. I learn a lot and a very good experience for me. By 12 noon we rush back to Hotel for check out and while waiting for check out manage to call my mother and discuss with her what can we do. Not much update but I still hoping that we still can do what as what we plan.
By 1pm we have a lunch at Thai restaurant in Kuching. Finish lunch by 1.45pm and move to airport for our flt to Miri. The flt should depart at 2pm but my bos got sms that the flt delay to 3pm and that why we having late lunch. By the time we arrive airport at 2.30pm the flt again delay to 4.30pm. Send sms to my fiancee and talk to her about the stupid ASTRO which still bill me when I already asked them to cancel the service. Thinking all this now just make me angry as my fiancee now have to help to check on this with them. If I in Penang sure that woman who handle my cancellation service will get left and right scolding. How suck is ASTRO service is.
When we arrive at Miri airport around 5.30pm is start to raining heavily. My boss, the org putih guy & myself make our way back to Brunei as we have another dinner apointment at 8.30pm. It was jam at Miri as people going back from work. My fiancee call me at this time and she was on her way back and will drop by at pasar malam to but something for her and my mom. I already informed her that I told my mom not to let her take rice at night so that se can look beautiful during our big day. :-)
Along the way back to Brunei it was raining heavily and non stop all the way.Some area were flooded and there no electricity and the Brunei Immigration. Lucky there not much car at that time if not it will take longer time to clear the immigration. We arrived at Brunei capital around 8.30pm just in time for our dinner appointment. Finish the meeting around 11.30pm and my boss drop me back to my place as it was raining. I did not take a shower and just change my cloth and straight to sleep and it was to tiring business trip for me. Since I back here I missed my fiancee. Missed talking to her and laugh with her. I wish I could call her every night before I sleep so that I can listen to her voice and listen to her laugh. I really miss u my princess. Be strong and take care of yourself.
